ACS Lead Tech has developed it’s most advanced version of Fully-Automatic Battery Breaking & Separation Plant (BBSU). Technology used in this is Hydro Separation. It is a complete Automatic Plant with least manpower involved and Automatic centralized parameter controls across the system.

The key to Research and Development of new design is the challenged segregation quality and the critical concerns of the operators. This is developed to individually segregate with least impurities: the lead paste, grids & poles, plastic Polypropylene (PP) chips and separators.

The Lead-Acid batteries, either acid filled or drained batteries, are fed to the crusher through Vibratory feeder and an Automatic controlled Belt Conveyor. The crusher crushes the batteries into small pieces of required size and is fed to the Rotating screen. The lead paste is separated and concentrated and a lead cake is formed in the Filter Press. The Metallic tank with screw conveyor separates the lead grids and poles. A tank called paddle wheel conveyor separates the grids and poles with the help of hydro separation and screw conveyors.

The paste desulphurization system is also provided, if required. The water is circulated in the system in a closed loop without wastage. The electrolyte and the system water is treated in an Acid Neutralization and Effluent Treatment Plant and resent in the BBSU system. The Reactor Tanks, Clarification tank and Filter press is used. The system is monitored through a pH Monitoring System. The Plant is designed with Air Pollution Control System with gas extraction hoods air treatment through Scrubber before releasing to the environment.
